ND X BAY6IX - LOOKING BACK

Back in April we put out our first collection with Nick Davies. Now his last season as a pro is done it felt like a good time to look back at it.

How it started

When Nick asks to do a collection with you, you don't say no. He's been at the top of wakeboarding for as long as most of us have been riding. He's still the one everyone stops to watch.

B6 started in 2018 making clothes for the lake. Doing a collection with Nick eight years later felt pretty special.

Three months of samples

It took three months. Samples went back and forth and Nick wore everything. We changed it, then changed it again. The embroidery took the longest. It got redone loads of times until it felt like something Nick would actually wear on a cold dock.

Back on the water

We launched it with a campaign about the first sessions of the year. Cold water, stiff legs and a wetsuit that hasn't dried properly. Every rider knows it. The first set feels awful and then it doesn't.

His last season

2026 was Nick's last season as a pro and he's now announced he's retiring. So this ended up being the kit from his final year on tour. His documentary comes out in 2027 and tells the full story. This is our small part of it. We may even do a limited capsule for the premier, stay tuned.

Most of the collection is still available. Nick's second tee with us, the ND Shop Talk, comes out with Drop 012.
